RokBox

Usage

To be used within articles not within the source of the article.  This is to be used within the text editor.

Syntax is { rokbox}link{/rokbox }.  Without spaces! Spaces are shown here to show you the code.

Example:  { rokbox}http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTYQqpB9sWM{/rokbox } Without spaces!

If you want the image to be part of an 'album', you can use the syntax { rokbox album=|albumname|}link{/rokbox}. To provide text descriptions, please use the syntax { rokbox title=|your description|}link{/rokbox }. To specify a thumbnail, use the syntax { rokbox thumb=|thumbnail_link.jpg|}link{/rokbox }. If you want to use a text link, you can specify the text using syntax: { rokbox text=|your link text here|}link{/rokbox }. You can also use album, title, thumb and text in the same tag.

You can use any link to multiple formats including video, photos, documents, music. See below for full details.

RokBox, the successor of our popular RokZoom plugin, is a mootools powered JavaScript slideshow that allows you to quickly and easily display multiple media formats including images, videos (video sharing services also) and music. RokBox comes in 3 formats. A standalone HTML/JavaScript solution for inclusion in any website or page; A Joomla 1.0 plugin, and a Joomla 1.5 plugin. Each Joomla! plugins come with a system and a content plugin.

We highly recommend using RokBox in Joomla 1.5 for optimal performance and ease of use.

History

RokBox is a Joomla! plugin insipired by the now famous LightBox, but with a large support for multimedia content and not only images. RokBox is written by Djamil Legato.
